Gerald Bussell was raised in Jacksonville, Florida and attended Englewood High School. He then attended Ga Tech on an athletic scholarship and was selected as an All American for football and played for the Denver Broncos. After a career in medical imaging (MRI, CT, Vascular Imaging...), mostly with General Electric, in sales and management, where he advanced through numerous jobs in major cities throughout the US. He then returned to Jacksonville and settled in Saint Augustine, Florida. Gerry joined Watson Realty Corp as a rookie with his wife, Diane, who was founder and owner of Diane's Naturalfood Market in Saint Augustine.
